Going Camping 2017-2018!

This school year we are having fun  with "camping" in speech-language class. We are telling campfire stories, earning badges, working in our camp notebooks, going fishing and celebrating with marshmellows and smores!

Speech Room Needs:  Current needs for our speech campground:  Kleenex, and smore ingredients.  Send donated items to school with a note attached so we know that it is for the speech room. Thank-You!

Playgroups:  Check out Hopkin Elementary's monthy playgroups for children birth-5 years!  This is a great way to expose your little one to language rich activities and everyone will get a free book!   It's also a nice way for you to meet other parents.

Camper of the month.  Each month a student is chosen to be our camper of the month.  These "campers" have completed home activities, had great attitudes, and put their all into accomplishing their speech-language goals.  Here's a list of our special campers so far this year:
